DESCRIPTION

Velocity is one of my new compositions in 2022. Airy, running piano with an emotional climax, accompanied by a touch of orchestral instruments and vocals. In the arrangement, next to the piano, you can hear double bass, cello, string section, timpani, brass, harp and synth. Currently, you can listen to it on this page (10/21/22).

INSPIRATION

One day, while researching the legacy of Aram Khachaturian, I came across his Toccata for piano. There is usually a lot going on in this type of compositions. It is often a form showing the musician's virtuosity. In the piece, however, I was captivated by dreamy and delicate fast piano arpeggios in the middle section. These delicious sounds were the spark for the later creation of Velocity.
